Join us for your travel and tourism school project or event.

If you are interested in sustainability, ecotourism, nature, hiking and outdoor experiences, Ebony Forest is the place to come.

 

Our Ecology Centre is available if you wish to brainstorm, have group discussions and do mini-presentations. If you need marketing material or want to speak to our operations coordinator or education officer, feel free to contact us.

Flora & Fauna - Ebony Forest - Mauritius

Facilities on site:
Ecology Centre with two classrooms, natural history museum, toilets, shop, restaurant, native plant nursery.

 

Lunch options:
We have a Restaurant at the Visitor Centre and a snack at Sublime Point. You can also buy ice cream and some snacks in our Shop. As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, we do not sell drinks in plastic bottles, but you can fill up your water bottle for free from our water fountain in our Shop.

 

Food and beverages:
Students can eat on site by either buying the school lunch for Rs 170 or other restaurant food, or bringing their own food. For groups, please book in advance. If you would like to bring your food to Ebony Forest, please inform us in advance. Ice cream and some snacks are available for purchase in our Shop. As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, we do not sell drinks in plastic bottles. Children can fill up their water bottle from our filtered water fountain located in our Shop.

Buying your ticket:
Once booked, you can purchase your tickets either online or when you visit.

 

Rate:
Rs 80 – 270 dependent on your activity. Call us for more information.

 

What to bring?:
a drink, sun cream, mosquito repellent, camera.

 

What to wear?:
trainers or comfortable shoes, cap, comfortable clothes, raincoat.

 

Parking:
available for cars, mini-buses and coasters. Please note that 60-seater buses are not allowed past the Seven Coloured Earth gate.
